Brenda has degrees in Psychology and Speech Pathology and is a community leader who has spent her career working to improve the lives of children and youth. Her efforts as a champion for children has taken her around the globe.
She is a winner of the congressional award, Angels in Adoption, a contributor to the Chicken Soup for the Adopted Soul series, serves on the Missouri Governor’s Child Abuse and Neglect Review Board, is Co-chair of the St. Louis Child Abuse and Neglect Network, and is the CEO of an organization dedicated to protecting children and youth in foster care.
Brenda is an impassioned presenter, alongside her daughter, Laura, and resides in St. Louis with her husband and their golden retriever.
Laura has an MBA, owns her own accounting and business management firm, and is an active volunteer. She inherited her mother’s passion to improve the world for vulnerable children and youth. She also resides in St. Louis with her husband, daughters and their cats and dogs.
